OTTAWA- Paralympic Games champion Tyler Turner stars in All In, an eight-part television series premiering Thursday on AMI-tv and AMI+ at 8 p.m. ET (also check your local listings).

The 30-minute episodes follows the Para snowboarding star trying a range of sports and adventures, beginning with cold-water freediving off East Sooke Park with instructor Chris Adair.

Future episodes feature Turner alongside several elite athletes, including Olympic bobsledder Cynthia Appiah, former professional baseball player Tyson Gillies, big-wave surfer Chuck Patterson and Olympic gold medallist Ashton Bell, as he takes part in snowboarding, sit-skiing, surfing, baseball and hockey.

Turner has won three Paralympic Winter Games medals in Para snowboarding including gold and bronze in 2022 and a bronze this past March in Milano Cortina.

‘’It’s been crazy, hosting a TV show is a new thing for me,’’ Turner told CBC. ‘’It’s always something I was interested in and now that I’m in the door I absolutely love it.’’

Turner is no stranger to national TV exposure. In addition to his Paralympic Games exploits, he starred in The Amazing Race Canada in 2023, one of the Canada’s most popular TV shows.

“The lines in sport are often blurred now and I always want to try new things,” Turner told the Times-Colonist. “In the end, I just want to prove that every sport is for everybody.”

Turner lost both legs below the knee because of a skydiving accident in 2017, a freak crash after filming a guest complete their first tandem skydive from 10,000 feet.

He faced many challenges in a difficult recovery but has come back to making multiple jumps as a skydiving instructor in addition to his sports success.
