Our strategic priorities

We have two strategic priorities which will allow us to realize our vision.

1

Best Prepared Teams

Goal

To have the Best Prepared Teams thriving in a performance focused environment

Focus Areas

Healthy Culture of Excellence · Games Readiness · Develop, Invest in, and Lead the Paralympic Sport System

2

Power of Para Sport

Goal

For Canadians to experience the Power of Para Sport

Focus Areas

Systems · Environment · Culture & Community

Our two priorities are mutually reinforcing

Our two priorities of Best Prepared Teams and the Power of Para Sport are mutually reinforcing. When Canadian athletes are best prepared, they succeed on the world stage, igniting belief and pride nationwide. That belief drives interest in Para sport.

The Power of Para Sport ensures that inspiration is turned into opportunity - breaking down barriers, building inclusive systems, and growing participation. This creates a virtuous cycle: podium success inspires Canadians, more people engage in Para sport, and the system strengthens to produce the next generation of world-class athletes.
