The Canadian Paralympic Committee and our partners believe in supporting the development of Para sport programming in your community. See below for funding opportunities that could help your Para sport initiatives.

Para sport Jumpstart Fund

The Para Sport Jumpstart Fund provides funding to support quality sport and physical activity programs that provide positive introductory and early competition Para Sport experiences. The Para Sport Jumpstart Fund covers costs associated with registration, transportation and equipment.

These grants are made possible thanks to a partnership with Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities.  Through this collaboration, we aim to create greater opportunities for children and youth with disabilities between the ages of 4-25, who face barriers to actively participate in organized sports and physical activity.

How to apply

All community and sport organizations with existing or developing Para sport programming for children with disabilities are encouraged to apply for the 2020 Para Sport Jumpstart Fund.

Applications are open from February 15, 2020 until March 31, 2020.
