Goalball  – Ontario

This initiative strengthens Canada’s boccia high-performance pathway by identifying and developing emerging athletes with Paralympic potential. A February 2027 National Next Gen Development Camp will provide technical, tactical, mental performance, and classification support for athletes and coaches. Collaboration with provincial partners will enhance sustainability and strengthen the pathway toward the 2028 and 2032 Paralympic Games.  

Alpine Ontario Alpin  

Para Alpine Skiing  – Ontario

The Ontario Para Alpine MEGA Camp strengthens Canada’s Para alpine pathway by providing provincial athletes with high-performance training, competition, and mentorship aligned with national standards. Through race participation, development camps, coach education, and collaboration with national partners, the initiative will build a sustainable pipeline of future Canada Winter Games and Paralympic athletes.

BC Adaptive Snowsports  

Para Alpine Skiing  – British Columbia

The BC Alpine Ski Association initiative strengthens Canada’s Para alpine pathway by increasing athlete recruitment, enhancing coach development, and improving athlete identification. In collaboration with Alpine Canada and provincial partners, it expands development opportunities, builds coaching capacity, and creates a sustainable national pathway to support future Paralympic success.

Canadian Cerebral Palsy Sports Association  

Boccia  – Ontario

This initiative strengthens Canada’s boccia high-performance pathway by identifying and developing emerging athletes with Paralympic potential. Climbing Escalade Canada   

Para Climbing  – Quebec

This initiative establishes the foundation for Para climbing in Canada by developing coaching, classification, safety, and competition resources while supporting emerging high-performance athletes. Through national workshops, a training camp, and championships, it will strengthen athlete recruitment, coach development, and the pathway toward the LA28 Paralympic Games.

Fédération québécoise des sports cyclistes  

Para Cycling – Quebec

This initiative strengthens Quebec’s Para cycling pathway by reducing financial barriers, enhancing training opportunities, and providing individualized coaching for emerging athletes. Through equipment loans, training camps, and competition exposure, the program supports athlete recruitment, retention, and progression while building a sustainable pathway toward future high-performance and Paralympic success.  

Hockey Québec

Para Ice Hockey  – Quebec

This initiative strengthens Quebec’s Para hockey pathway by supporting athlete progression from U17 to elite programs through enhanced training, competition, and integrated support services. By improving athlete development and fostering sustainable programming, the project will expand the talent pipeline and prepare future national team and Paralympic athletes.  

Alberta Para Ice Hockey Association  

Para Ice Hockey  – Alberta

This initiative strengthens Alberta’s Para ice hockey pathway by identifying and developing athletes through high-performance camps, while enhancing coach education and technical support. The program creates a sustainable provincial pathway to national competition by preparing athletes and coaches for future Team Alberta, national team, and Paralympic opportunities.  

Canada Snowboard  

Para Snowboard  – Alberta

This initiative strengthens Canada’s Para snowboard pathway by providing emerging athletes and coaches with access to a high-performance training environment. Through athlete development, coach mentorship, and collaboration with national team staff, the program supports progression, retention, and sustainable growth of para snowboarding across Canada. 

Swim BC  

Para Swimming  – British Columbia

This initiative supports Canada’s Para swimming pathway by providing emerging athletes and coaches with competition, training, and mentorship opportunities. Through a Para-specific international event and development camp, participants will gain technical expertise, classification knowledge, and high-performance experience while strengthening sustainable athlete and coach development in British Columbia.

This initiative enhances Para swimming coach development by creating a national learning community and knowledge hub. Through webinars, expert-led resources, and peer collaboration, the program will provide coaches with practical Para-specific knowledge, improving athlete-centered training and strengthening long-term support for Para swimmers across Canada.  

Wheelchair Basketball Canada  

Wheelchair Basketball  – Ontario

This initiative strengthens Canada’s wheelchair basketball pathway by providing emerging athletes and coaches with a national-level development environment. Through high-performance training, mentorship, education, and multidisciplinary support, the program enhances athlete progression, reduces development barriers, and builds future national team and Paralympic talent. 

Parasport New Brunswick  

Wheelchair Basketball  – New Brunswick

This initiative strengthens New Brunswick’s wheelchair basketball pathway by providing athletes and coaches with high-performance training, competition, mentorship, and sport science support. Through elite camps, junior development opportunities, and sustainable partnerships, the program supports athlete progression beyond the Canada Games level toward national and Paralympic pathways. 

Alberta Northern Lights Wheelchair Basketball Society  

Wheelchair Basketball  – Alberta

This initiative strengthens Alberta’s wheelchair basketball pathway by increasing recruitment, retention, and development opportunities for girls and young women with physical disabilities. Through female-focused training, talent identification, and athlete mentorship, the program will foster confidence, leadership, and long-term participation while supporting future high-performance athletes. 

Wheelchair Rugby Canada  

Wheelchair Rugby  – Alberta

This initiative strengthens the women’s wheelchair rugby pathway by providing female athletes with dedicated training, competition, mentorship, and leadership opportunities. Supporting athletes and coaches across Canada, the program enhances skill development, international experience, and long-term pathway sustainability toward national team and Paralympic success.  

Parasports Québec 

Multiple sports  – Quebec

This initiative strengthens Quebec’s Paralympic pathway by expanding Integrated Support Team services for high-potential Para athletes across multiple sports. Through specialized performance support, coach development, and collaboration between experts, the program will enhance training environments and improve athlete progression toward national team and high-performance opportunities.
