Tokyo 2020

The Paralympic Games in Tokyo will take place August 24- September 5th, 2021. The Games will feature 22 sports contested by 164 countries and regions. 4,237 Paralympians will compete for 1,522 medals.

The 22 sports include: archery, athletics, badminton, boccia, canoe, cycling, equestrian, football 5-a-side, goalball, judo, powerlifting, rowing, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, table tennis, taekwando, triathlon, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair fencing, wheelchair rugby, wheelchair tennis.

Tokyo will become the first-ever city to host the Paralympic Games for a second time having first hosted the 1964 Paralympic Games.
