
The 2024 Paralympic Games are taking place from 28 August to 8 September 2024 in Paris, France. The Games will feature 4,400 Paralympic athletes from 184 nations around the world competing in 22 sports.
The 549 events will take place over 11 days in 20 different competition venues to the + 3 million spectators.
The 22 sports include: Blind football, boccia, goalball, para archery, para athletics, para badminton, para canoe, para cycling road, para cycling track, para equestrian (para dressage), para judo, para powerlifting, para rowing, para swimming, para table tennis, para taekwondo, para triathlon, shooting para sport, sitting volleyball, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair fencing, wheelchair rugby, and wheelchair tennis.
The opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games will take place in the centre of Paris at the eastern end of the Champs-Élysées and the adjacent Place de la Concorde.
