OTTAWA – Be prepared to see eight of Canada’s top Paralympic athletes as you have never seen them before in season two of Mind Set Go, a reality show to be broadcast on both the AMI-TV and Canadian Paralympic Committee media platforms.

The series expands the AMI and CPC partnership beyond the Games. Canadian Paralympians will share their impactful stories on dealing with adversity to become the world’s best in order to motivate and inspire the show’s participants.

‘’This is truly a life changing experience for these participants,’’ said Martin Richard Executive Director, Communications and Brand, Canada Paralympic Committee. ‘’We are very fortunate to have our athletes play a part in it.’’

The eight Canadian Paralympic athletes featured this season are:

Michelle Stilwell of Victoria, a six-time Paralympic Games champion
Ina Forrest of Armstrong, B.C. a two-time Games champion in wheelchair curling
Ness Murby of Salt Spring Island, B.C., a Para athletics thrower
Pam Lejean of Halifax, also a thrower
David Willsie of London, Ont. a wheelchair rugby player
Karolina Wisniewska of Calgary, an eight-time Paralympic Games medallist in Para alpine skiing
Shawna Ryan of Saskatoon, a Para cyclist
Andrew Haley of Toronto, a Para swimmer

The Mind Set Go series is comprised of eight episodes and it starts January 30, 2019. In each show, the hosts (the husband-wife team of nationally-ranked Para cyclist Lowell Taylor and Julie Taylor) and the invited Paralympian help break down the barriers that stand in the way of optimal health for the guest.

At the end of three months, each participant will tackle a physical objective that reveals how their mindset has progressed over the course of their journey.
