Even though Canada’s Paralympians are not able to compete right now, or train at their normal pace, they are still keeping themselves busy whether it’s doing at-home workouts, virtual chatting with friends and family, or sharing their stories in the news and on social media. Each week, we compile various top social posts and articles to see what Canadian Para athletes have been up to. Here are some highlights from the past week:
Cindy Ouellet, a member of Canada’s national women’s wheelchair basketball team, hosted the final edition of the weekly Team Canada Champion Chats. Special guests included 20-time Paralympic medallist Benoit Huot as they celebrated the end of the school year.
Tyler McGregor and Dominic Larocque, members of Canada’s Para ice hockey team, provided tips in a question and answer session about hand-eye coordination on Instagram this week.
