Fourth medal for both Para alpine skiers
Calgary’s Lauren Woolstencroft made it four gold medals on the Whistler slopes on March 19 with her win in the women’s standing super G. Her compatriot Viviane Forest of Montreal also collected a fourth medal with a silver in the women’s visually impaired super G with guide Lindsay Debou.
Canada lost its last round robin game in wheelchair curling but still finished first in pool play with a 7-2 record.
In Para ice hockey, the defending champion Canadians lost the bronze medal match to Norway 2-1 and placed fourth.
