Marcoux won four races out of four at the World Para Alpine Skiing World Cup Finals

PYEONGCHANG, South Korea – Canada’s Mac Marcoux has been voted the Allianz Athlete of the Month for February by the International Paralympic Committee, with only three days to go until the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games which begin on Friday.

 

Marcoux won four races out of four at the World Para Alpine Skiing World Cup Finals on home soil in Kimberley, B.C., last month to secure the overall 2017-18 World Cup crown, guided by Jack Leitch of Calgary.

The Sault Ste Marie, Ont., skier received 45 per cent of the public votes. US snowboarder Brenna Huckaby was second with 36 per cent.
