Cortina, Italy, March 15, 2026 – Canadian Para ice hockey player Tyler McGregor has been elected to the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Athletes’ Council following the conclusion of voting at the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games.
Athletes have been voting in the Paralympic Villages throughout the Games period. McGregor was one of five athletes running for a position and will now serve a four-year term.
A four-time Paralympian, McGregor is captain of the Para ice hockey team, co-captain of the Milano Cortina 2026 Canadian Paralympic Team, and a member of the Canadian Paralympic Athletes’ Council.
As a member of the IPC Athletes’ Council, McGregor will also now have a seat on the CPC Board of Directors.
