CPC celebrates accomplishments at Paris Games with release of 2024-25 Annual Report
Report looks back at Paris 2024 on and off the field of play as well as many other significant initiatives to advance Para sport throughout the year
A sparkling Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, record-breaking ParaTough Cup events, a revitalized brand, and so much more – it was an exciting 2024-25 for the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) and Paralympic Foundation of Canada (PFC).
With many accomplishments and developments to celebrate in 2024-25, the CPC’s newly published Annual Report looks back at all the major milestones from throughout the year, showcasing both the hard work that goes into preparing and planning for the Games and the power of Para sport in promoting greater inclusion and more opportunities for people with a disability.
While Paris 2024 was the focus of the year – resulting in 29 medals for the Canadian Paralympic Team, outstanding broadcast and media numbers, an energized Canada Paralympic House and robust onsite programming – there were many other initiatives happening over the 12 months of 2024-25.
This includes Milano Cortina 2026 preparations, advancing athlete leadership, launching a fan-facing newsletter, supporting organizations through the Paralympic Sport Development Fund, and more.
Advancing the Paralympic Movement in Canada is a community effort, and it is thanks to the collaboration and leadership of CPC, PFC, and all their members, partners and supporters that progress continues to be made year over year. The Annual Report is a celebration of this work together.
