March 8, 2026 – The Canadian Paralympic Committee and Alpine Canada Alpin confirm that Mollie Jepsen will not compete in any further events at the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games.

The 26-year-old West Vancouver native, a six-time Paralympic medallist from the PyeongChang 2018 and Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games, completed yesterday’s downhill but will step back from the remainder of the competitions due to a knee injury.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the team around me, and all the support that I received to get back here,” said Jepsen. “And beyond that, being part of such an elite group that helped me return to the start gate with confidence in the downhill was something really special.”

“I’m excited to cheer on Team Canada from the stands and watch my teammates continue to compete out there.”

The Para alpine team returns to action tomorrow with the  Super G at the Tofane  Alpine Skiing Centre in Cortina, Italy.
