LONDON, Ont. – Goals from Rob Armstrong, Zach Lavin, James Dunn and Dominic Cozzolino powered Canada to a 4-0 shutout win over South Korea on Wednesday at the Canadian Tire Para Hockey Cup.
Canada has now shut out the Koreans in both of their encounters in the tournament’s preliminary round. On Sunday, Canada opened with a 7-0 win over the Koreans, followed by a 3-0 loss to the U.S. on Monday.
Dunn chipped in two assists to go along with his goal, while eight players hit the scoresheet for Canada.
Canada led 2-0 after the first period and 3-0 after two. Corbin Watson registered the shutout.
Korea looks for its first win of the tournament on Thursday (7 p.m. ET) against the United States. Canada finishes off preliminary round play against the United States on Friday (12 p.m. ET). The championship game is Saturday December 8 at 4 p.m. and will be broadcast live on TSN5.
The U.S., Canada and South Korea won gold, silver and bronze respectively at the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games.
