Yves Bourque competed at his second Paralympic Games in 2018. He entered the Games in better condition than in Sochi in 2014 where he was hampered by shoulder problems. In addition, in 2017 he posted his best qualifying times at a World Cup on the PyeongChang Games course.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

2014 and 2018 Paralympic team… Bronze medal at 2011 Canada Games… 2013 Nationals (Whistler, BC); 1 Gold Sprint, 2 Silver 7.5 km 10km, 1 Bronze 5km.

PERSONAL

Married with four children… He began skiing in 1986 and discovered para-nordic skiing in 2008…. Very inspired by teammate Brian McKeever and his bid to compete at the Paralympics and Olympics.
