Tessa Popoff owns The Learning Circle Child Care Centre in Langley, B.C. She has dedicated her life to working with children in different fields. She says early childhood education is the most rewarding field for her.
At 18, Popoff was in a car accident that resulted in her right arm being amputated. Popoff says she has realized over the years that with her disability, she can make a difference with children.
Popoff started playing sitting volleyball in 2014 when she was invited to a training camp. She was a member of Team Canada at the 2015 Parapan American Games which won bronze and qualified for the 2016 Paralympics.
