Haase

Sheriauna Haase, born on October 1, 2006, in Toronto, has emerged as a prominent figure in Canadian Para athletics. Born missing part of her left arm, Haase has shown remarkable determination and talent across multiple fields, including athletics, dance, and acting.

Haase made her international debut at the 2023 World Para Athletics Championships, where she placed fifth in the Women’s 100m T47 event, setting a Canadian record with a time of 12.42 seconds. This marked a significant milestone in her athletic career and set the stage for her selection to represent Canada at the Paris 2024 Paralympics, her first Games​​​​.

Her journey into athletics is complemented by her role as an ambassador for the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, where she has been a patient since she was 18 months old.
