Ryan Rondeau has greatly improved his boccia game over the past few years, as a rising men’s BC3 player in Canada.
At a test event for the Santiago 2023 Parapan Am Games earlier in the year, Rondeau and his partner Marylou Marineau took the bronze in the BC3 pairs competition.
In 2021, he climbed in the national ranks rapidly. He earned himself a bronze medal at the 2021 Canadian Championships, then a gold at the 2021 Défi sportif AlterGo, and a bronze at the 2022 Canadian Championships.
He was quickly put on the Espoir team in the spring of 2022 and several months later won a silver medal in his first international appearance at the Cali World Boccia Challenger.
