Sochi 2014
Robin Fémy guided para-alpine skier Mac Marcoux to three medals at the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi in 2014, following the injury to Marcoux’s brother Billy Joe, Mac’s original guide. Fémy and Marcoux combined for gold in the giant slalom and bronze in the super-G and downhill.
A former alpine ski racer, Fémy became Chris Williamson’s guide for the 2010-11 season. The duo has earned multiple IPC World Cup podiums and eight world championship medals together, including four at the most recent world championships in La Molina, Spain. Fémy also guided Williamson to his 100th career IPC World Cup podium in 2011.
Fémy, who was born in France and now lives in Mont-Tremblant, Que., has close ties to para-alpine racing: his father coaches the French para-alpine ski team. The 2014 Sochi Paralympic Winter Games were Fémy’s first Paralympic experience.
Off the hill, Fémy owns and operates an underwear company and works as a DJ.
