Kevin Strybosch won the gold medal in discus at the 2015 Parapan Am Games in Toronto. He competed at the 2016 Paralympics and 2018 Commonwealth Games. He is also a two-time world championship team member. He was born with cerebral palsy that affects the left side of his body. One of his tutors early in his throwing career was Canadian Olympic discus thrower Jason Tunks. He was also a member of Canada’s national sitting volleyball team and played at the 2011 World Championships.
