Ken Trudgeon competes in three track and field events; shotput, discus and javelin.  His ultimate goal is to throw at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio. Toronto 2015 will be a big stepping stone towards that goal.  Trudgeon says the Parapan Am Games are a great event for his sport and his goal is to win medals. “I am ready to move to the next level and be a difference in the medal standings for Canada.”  In 2013 he competed at the IPC World Championships in Lyon, France and gained more valuable experience.
