Hannah Ouellette was nominated to her first Paralympic Games in 2024.

At the Para swimming team trials for the Games, Ouellette broke the Canadian record in the women’s SM5 200-metre individual medley. A couple of weeks earlier at a World Series competition she won the silver medal in the women’s S5 50-metre backstroke.

In 2023, she was a member of the 4X50m mixed medley relay that set the Canadian record at a meet in B.C. Paralympic teammates Sebastian Massie and Shelby Newkirk were also on that relay.

In 2022, she won Saskatchewan’s first medal at the Canada Games with a bronze in the multiclass women’s 50-metre butterfly.

She has been swimming for eight years and is a part of the Saskatoon Lasers Swim Club under coach Ryan Jones.
