Darren Hamilton was a member of Canada’s men’s goalball team that placed fifth at the Barcelona 1992 Paralympic Games.

He has coached for more than 10 years and was an assistant coach for the men’s national team at the Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games, where the team placed third and earned a berth in Rio.

At the London 2012 Paralympic Games, Hamilton was a member of goalball’s support staff and provided video analysis to the teams.

For the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, Hamilton serves as assistant coach for both the men’s and women’s goalball teams.
