In 2022 at the world championships, he improved to a berth in the round of 16, going 1-1 in the preliminary round.

Allard began his Para sport career playing Para ice hockey and swimming. When he wanted to take up a new sport in 2012, his mother signed him up for boccia and since then his passion for the sport has only grown.

In 2019, Allard showed he was a rising star in the sport, climbing to 14th position in the world rankings after only two international appearances , including a fourth place at the BISFed Montreal World Open. His accomplishments also include a gold medal at the 2015 Jeux du Quebec and a gold medal at the 2018 Canadian Boccia Championships.

Allard competes in the BC2 category, for athletes with low to moderate trunk and limb movement limitation, or high leg movement limitation. Allard therefore has moderate core control and balance while seated and can throw well in a variety of ways.
