Charlotte Bolton made her Paralympic Games debut in 2020 placing sixth in both the shotput and discus in Tokyo. She notched two more top-10s at the 2023 world championships.

Her initial plan was to compete at the 2024 Paralympic Games but with the postponement of the Tokyo Games by a year, she was able to work hard, train, and improve to earn a spot on Canada’s Paralympic roster earlier than expected.

Bolton emerged quickly on the Para athletics scene. As of October 2023 at age 20, she holds all three Canadian throwing records in the women’s F41. She is also ranked in the top-10 in the world in shotput and discus.
