Adam Rahier continued his development in 2015 by qualifying for the IPC Swimming World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, and the Toronto 2015 Parapan Am Games. He added to his medal collection at the Speedo Can Am Para-swimming Championships in Toronto by placing second in the S14 200-metre individual medley and third in both the 100-m backstroke and 100-m breaststroke.
Rahier returned home with a perfect medal set from the Pan Pacific Para-swimming Championships in 2014. He won the gold medal in the S14 200-m individual medley in Canadian record time, the silver in the 100-m butterfly and the bronze in the 100-m breaststroke.
After falling short in his bid to make the London 2012 Paralympic team, Rahier raced in three events at the 2013 IPC World Championships in Montreal. His best result was an eighth-place finish in the 200-m individual medley.
Rahier had a solid season in 2012. He set national long course records in the 50-metre backstroke and 200-m breaststroke to end the year with five Canadian records to his credit.
In 2011, Rahier was one of Canada’s top swimmers at the Guadalajara 2011 Parapan American Games, earning a gold and two silver medals
