William Roussy’s dream to crack the top-10 in the SL3 men’s singles is nearly coming to reality in 2023 with a number 11 as of September 1. In 2022, he won the gold medal in singles at the Pan Am Championships and the bronze with partner Pascal Lapointe in men’s doubles. He was also a member of the 2022 World Championships team.
In his Parapan Am Games debut in 2019 at age 15, he was fourth in singles.
Roussy made a sparkling international debut at the 2018 Pan Am Championships in Para badminton as he won the bronze medal in singles. A month later he was named to the national team.
