Nicole Clermont was a cycling club member when she decided to test her skills in competition. Cycling has always been an important of part of her life. Her father was a cycling aficionado and she received her first bike at age four. She says one of her biggest inspirations include her teammates who ‘’continue to overcome challenges to surpass themselves each day.’’

Clermont finished in the top-five at the 2013, 2014 and 2015 world championships. At the 2015 Toronto Parapan American Games, Clermont won bronze in the road race and was a third place finisher in both the road race and the time trial at the 2016 World Cup in Ostend, Belgium.

Works as a principal at an elementary school in Sherbrooke… Enjoys many winter sports as well as golf…Graduated with Bachelor’s degree in physical activity, certificate teaching English as a second language from the University of Sherbrooke.
