Lyne Tremblay gained media attention in 2021 for building a shooting range in her home in order to continue her preparations for the Paralympic Games during the pandemic. The project kept the engineer busy during COVID-19. Her garage is also full of memorabilia from her sports career which she hopes to turn into a museum.

She also raced as an able-bodied cyclist on the international circuit, competed as an able-bodied athlete in marathons, and was part of the sea kayak Canadian team.

She represented Canada in Para archery at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing and 2012 Paralympic Games in London. Tremblay sustained an injury following the 2012 Games which led her to begin shooting in 2014. Tokyo 2020 will be her first Paralympic Games in the sport of Shooting Para sport.

Tremblay is a qualified glider and aeroplane pilot. She is also a qualified aeronautical builder. In 1979 she became the first young age Canadian female to cross North America as a commander of her own airplane.
