Tokyo 2020

Kyle Fredrickson and his partner Andrew Todd are two-time world champions in the PR3 pairs events. The teammates took the titles in 2018 and 2019. However, that event is not on the Paralympic Games program so their focus for Tokyo in the mixed fours.

Along with Todd, Victoria Nolan, Bayleigh Hooper and coxswain Laura Court the mixed crew took fourth spot at the 2018 worlds showing a medal in Tokyo is within their grasp. They won the last chance qualifying event in June 2021 to earn a spot for the Tokyo Games.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

2018 and 2019 world championships… First rowed in 2018 at summer camps with the Maple Bay Rowing Club on Quamichan Lake.

Born with bilateral clubfeet which required five surgeries… Enjoys water skiing, old cars, hiking, biking, and sports in general…Recreation and health education University of Victoria… Also on the Vikings varsity team…
