Jessye Brockway joined forces with Jeremy Hall in July 2019 in a bid to qualify for the Paralympic Games in the mixed pairs PR2. Hall had been looking for a teammate who could race with him in that event, and Brockway answered the call. It was her first foray into Para rowing. The teammates placed 11th at the world championships in 2019.

In June 2021, Brockway and Hall needed a top two finish in the last Games qualifier to earn a ticket to Tokyo but fell just short placing third. However three weeks later Canada was allocated a bipartite spot for the PR2 mixed doubles sculls event for Brockway and Hall to make their Paralympic debuts.
