Later in 2023, she helped Canada to silver at the Parapan Am Games then in early 2024 was on the team that went undefeated at the Paralympic Games qualifier.

Tessier was introduced to wheelchair basketball by a school friend. The team spirit exhibited in the sport fits perfectly with Tessier’s bubbly and smiling personality.
