Beth Johnson was a member of Canada’s team that placed sixth at the U25 women’s world championships and won the silver medal at the Parapan American Games in 2023. She was a member of Canada’s undefeated squad at the 2024 Paralympic Games qualifier.

She was an avid curler growing up, winning a championship at her local club in Winnipeg. However, her curling career was put on hold when she developed a hip condition. During the summer between grades seven and eight, Johnson experienced a slipped capital femoral epiphysis. After her first hip surgery, Johnson got introduced to wheelchair basketball.

On top of wheelchair basketball, Johnson also represented Team Manitoba in canoe-kayak at the 2022 Canada Games in Niagara.
