Amy Watt competed for USA at the Toronto 2015 Parapan Am Games and Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. Lima 2019 was her first international Games representing Canada and she placed sixth in the long jump. A few months later, she was eighth in the same event for Canada at the IPC World Championships.
After she competed at the 2016 Paralympic Games, she took a break from international competition to focus on her education at Pomona College in Claremont, California. From Palo Alto, California, she holds dual Canadian and US citizenship and made the switch to represent Canada upon her return to the international stage in 2019.
Between June 2018 and August 2019, she worked as a data science and data analytics intern for Facebook.
