Allison Lang has quickly emerged as one of Canada’s most high-profile Para athletes.

Besides being a member of Canada’s medal winning women’s sitting volleyball team, Lang has developed a career in acting, broadcasting, modelling and as a powerful advocate of Para sport and positive self-image.

She works as a model for several companies, she’s a social media influencer with 25,000 followers on Instagram, and and regularly shares the issues that have affected her life.

Through her website and social channels, Lang is expanding her message to a growing audience.

Currently she is the lead actress on How We Do It, a television series where kids of all abilities come together to show viewers how they live their lives. It is broadcast by AMI and CITY-TV.

During the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games she was part of CBC’s broadcast team for its Games coverage.

Lang was a member of Canada’s women’s sitting volleyball team which won an historic bronze medal at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. It was Canada’s first Games medal in the sport.

She helped Canada to the silver medal at the 2022 World Championships and a year later she and her teammates qualified for the 2024 Paralympic Games at the 2023 World Cup in Egypt.
