For over 20 years, Petro-Canada™ has partnered with the Canadian Paralympic Committee to help Canadian athletes, coaches and their families. Whether it’s helping athletes reach their full potential with Petro-Canada's Fuelling Athlete and Coaching Excellence (FACE™) Program, or bringing them closer to their families with the Canadian Athlete Family Program, Petro-Canada believes that Living by the Leaf means supporting those who wear it.

Many athletes dream of representing Canada at the Paralympic or Olympic Games. However, this goal requires years of hard work and dedication, often before an athlete qualifies for government funding. Petro-Canada’s FACE Program helps support athletes at this crucial stage in their journey, by awarding fifty-five FACE grants of $10,000 every year, to be shared between promising athletes and their coaches.

Petro-Canada believes one of the best ways to support Canadian Paralympic and Olympic athletes is to help their biggest supporters — their families — be there to see them compete. The Canadian Athlete Family Program helps to make this a reality by ensuring their families have the opportunity to watch their Paralympians and Olympians compete live on the world stage.
