Discover the Volunteer Uniforms for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games

Paris 2024 held its Volunteer Convention to kick off a unique behind-the-scenes experience of the world's biggest sporting event for the 45,000 volunteers who have been selected for the Games.

The event was held at Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, a competition venue for the Paris 2024 Games. During the event, volunteers had the opportunity to spend the day getting to know more about the Games and discovering their uniform.

Canada Secures Paris Ticket with Silver at Wheelchair Rugby Qualification Tournament

In a thrilling showcase of grit and determination, the Canadian Wheelchair Rugby Team has secured the side’s ticket to the Paris 2024 Paralympics by clinching the silver medal at the Paris Qualification Tournament held in Wellington, New Zealand from March 20 to 24, 2024.

After defeating Brazil (57-39), Netherlands (55-35) and the hosts New Zealand (54-39) in pool play, the Canadian Team defeated Germany (58-41) in the semi-finals to secure the nation’s top three position needed for Paris qualification, before facing Australia for gold.

Natalie Wilkie strides into next chapter in phenomenal career

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. – At age 17, Para nordic skier Natalie Wilkie was the youngest member on Canada’s Paralympic Winter Games team for Pyeongchang in 2018.  She left South Korea with a complete medal set: gold, silver and bronze and a teen phenom was born.

After accumulating more hardware at world championships and World Cups, the Salmon Arm, B.C. native improved to four medals with two gold, a silver and a bronze at the 2022 Paralympics. In Beijing, she was Canada’s youngest medallist  and its most successful athlete.
