Brittany Hudak won the bronze medal in the women’s standing 10km cross country race on Wednesday at the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games.

Hudak, from Prince Albert, Sask., clocked 32:01.0, behind silver medalist Vilde Nilson of Norway and USA’s Sydney Peterson who took home the gold.

The bronze medal is Hudak’s first medal of these Winter Paralympics and fourth over four Games.

“It feels great,” said Hudak. “I knew the fitness was there, I knew I was skiing well, it was just kind of managing to put everything together in the same day.

“I’m really happy to put together a solid race.”
