March 17 at Vancouver 2010: Woolstencroft collects her second gold of the Games

Two more wins for Canada in wheelchair curling

On March 17, it was becoming clear at the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games that if Lauren

Woolstencroft could ski cleanly, she’d be tough to beat in any event after her overwhelming victory in the women’s standing super G. It was her second gold of the competition and Canada’s eighth medal of the Games.

Meanwhile Canada’s wheelchair curling team continued to dominate with two more hard fought victories over Germany and South Korea to stand with a 7-1 record.
