The Paralympic Foundation of Canada is a registered charitable foundation, founded in 2015 as the philanthropic arm of the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) with a mandate to raise funds to support the programs and activities of the CPC.
Canadian athletes with a disability demonstrate at every level what is truly possible through sport. They are the finest examples, that with support – there are no limits.
The Paralympic Foundation of Canada believes that all every single Canadian should be able to imagine themselves at the start line, regardless of ability. Far too many Canadians do not have the opportunity to participate in sport and become athletes.
We raise funds to support the CPC and its mission to create a sustainable parasport system in Canada, by providing more Canadians with a disability opportunities to be active in their communities and to strive for success on the world stage.
With the support of our generous donors, we increase access to coaching, equipment and training facilities for Canadians with a disability, as well as invest in individuals with the drive and talent to compete on the world stage.
The Paralympic Foundation of Canada’s charitable registration number is 813904190RR0001.
