Sport is more than a game - it is an unrivalled catalyst for personal growth, resilience, and creating connections.

Yet for more than 27% of Canadians with a disability, in excess of 8 million people, the greatest challenge often isn’t the competition - it’s getting the chance to compete.

For a person born with a disability, a newly injured individual, or someone recovering from a traumatic condition, simply discovering available sport programs and activities can be a challenge.

And if they are able to navigate that first obstacle, the costs of adapted equipment are as much as ten times that of sport equipment for non-disabled athletes.
