Gerry Stefanatos joined Pfizer with the integration of Hospira in 2015. He was appointed General Manager, Global Established Pharma Business.

Gerry brings over 29 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry to Pfizer. Before his appointment, he held the role of Corporate Vice President and President, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and as such lead Hospira’s second largest commercial presence globally.

Prior to assuming his current position in December 2012, Gerry served as VP for Canada and Latin America from 2009 to 2012, and was subsequently appointed Corporate Vice President and President for Canada and Latin America.

Beginning in 2004, Gerry served as Hospira’s Regional Director for Canada and then in 2006, Vice President for Canada, during which time he was instrumental in establishing the Canadian entity, as well as assuring its long term growth.

Gerry acquired his extensive industry experience at Abbott Laboratories. He launched his career in 1988 as Manager Sales Administration for the Ross Division. His business acumen and innovative leadership skills were honed through a variety of increasingly responsible sales and marketing management positions including Director, Hospital Products Division from 2000-2003.

Gerry was also an Executive Board Member of MEDEC, the national association of Canada’s medical technology industry, from 2004 to 2009. Gerry earned a bachelor’s degree in Commerce at McGill University in Montréal.
