Jacqueline Rennebohm

Jacqueline was diagnosed with cone-rod dystrophy, causing a visual impairment at a young age and has always faced adversity with determination, courage and passion. She is attending UWO and is working towards an Environmental Health degree.
Jacqueline knows what it takes to make it to the international stage, as she competed at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing in swimming, where she finished top ten in four events. Since retiring from swimming, Jacqueline has applied her athleticism, hard work ethic, passion and skill to the track where she has made great strides in a short period of time.
Jacqueline Rennebohm, together with guide runner Simon Hodge, will compete in the T12 100-metres and 200-metres at the Parapan American Games.
Jacqueline has high performance goals on the track and in academics. She holds the Canadian record in the T12 200-metres. She is also a varsity team member with Western Mustang Athletics at the University of Western Ontario (UWO) in London. Her goal for the Parapan American Games is to narrow the gap in the world rankings from top ten to podium.
