Gerald Austgarden

Gerald likes competing in all kinds of sports, but he has a preference for wheelchair curling. Since an accident made him a paraplegic in 1987, he takes part in several wheelchair sports. He likes to ski, play tennis and basketball, but curling and golf are his passions.
Gerald has been married for 19 years to Doreen and is the father of an eight years old girl named Zoe-Ann. He enjoys family activities, camping, nature and animals. Moreover, he has a dog and a rabbit. He works as an Investment Advisor for BMO Nesbitt Burns, in Kelowna, where Gerald is involved in his community to promote adapted sports.
