Matt Brown is in his ninth season with the national team and was a member of Canada’s bronze medal winning squad at the 2007 Parapan American Games in Rio. He has also played for Team Canada at the past three world championships.

Brown was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was three years old. It affects the right side of his body. He started playing soccer when he was four-years-old and has been competing against able-bodied athletes since he was nine.
