Ottawa, October 31, 2018 – At a meeting of Calgary City Council on Wednesday, a motion to effectively end the Calgary 2026 bid was voted down. The bid process will continue as planned with the next step being a public plebiscite on November 13, 2018, where the people of Calgary will have their chance to voice their opinion on hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
