Dr. Lindsay Bradley is a primary care sport medicine physician at the Carleton University Sport Medicine Clinic in Ottawa. She completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences at McMaster University and finished medical school and a residency program in Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa. She completed fellowship training in Sport and Exercise Medicine and received the CASEM diploma in Sport Medicine. She is the team physician for the National Men’s Sledge hockey team, the Ottawa Fury soccer team and the Carleton University Varsity Women's Rugby and Basketball teams.

Dr. Bradley has covered many local, provincial, national and international sporting competitions including the Ontario Summer and Parasport Games, Canada Summer and Winter Games, IPC Women’s Sledge Hockey World Championships (2014), National and International Figure Skating Championships, World and National Ultimate Championships, local and National Rugby games, Canadian Gymnastics Championships, Women’s Ice Hockey World Championships, training camps for the National Para swimming team and National Men’s Rugby team, and the annual National Capital Marathon, to name a few.

She is currently Program Chair of the Ontario Medical Association’s Section on Sport and Exercise Medicine and is one of the group’s representatives on the Canadian Concussion Collaborative, whose mandate is to educate physicians and the public about the appropriate assessment and management of sport related concussion. As part of this group, she aided in the publication of an article in the British Journal of Sport Medicine entitled, ‘Recommendations for policy development regarding sport-related concussion prevention and management in Canada. She is also chair of the Communications and Adaptive Physical Activity committees of the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM). 

Dr. Bradley is interested in teaching and research and is involved in both of these endeavours as a member of the faculty at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine and Family Medicine Departments. She is the Education Director for the Sport and Exercise Medicine Fellowship at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Bradley has an interest in social media and is involved in website development and social media at the Carleton Sport Medicine Clinic, the OMA Sport Medicine Section and CASEM. She also has a particular interest in the mental health of athletes at the varsity and National level and has co-founded the Bench the Barriers group at Carleton University’s Department of Athletics. 

Dr. Bradley encourages physical activity in her patients of all abilities and models this by continuing to participate in local sports including basketball, volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee and numerous other outdoor activities.
