After a recreational interest in para-soccer, Chris started playing boccia at the age of fifteen. He is known for his strong a short to mid game play, and advocates the importance of hard work and discipline in sport.

Career Highlights

Chris’s career highlight is his silver medal win at the 2015 Canadian Boccia Championships, a test event for the Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games. He won his medal in a close game against Québec’s Josée Lamothe, Chris clinched the win in overtime.


An enthusiastic hockey fan, Chris cheers for the Vancouver Canucks. He’s also an avid movie watcher, comedies being his genre of choice. On the court five days a week and a part of the Victoria Sports Screamers Club, there’s no missing the commitment Chris holds for his craft.
