Erica Scarff added to Paracanoe National Team

CanoeKayak Canada is pleased to add Erica Scarff to its National Team after being allocated an additional Paracanoe card through Sport Canada’s Athlete Assistance Program. Scarff is an LTA athlete and paddles at the Balmy Beach Canoe Club in Toronto. CanoeKayak Canada now has four carded Paracanoe athletes.

CPC ATTENDS CHEF DE MISSION SEMINAR FOR TORONTO 2015 PARAPAN AM GAMES

The Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games Chefs de Mission Seminar this week provided the opportunity to engage with the Toronto organizing committee on key areas in preparation for the Games.

Onsite for Team Canada were Chef de Mission Elisabeth Walker-Young, Assistant Chef de Mission Stephanie Dixon and CPC Games staff. They toured venues, participated in meetings and networked with international Games colleagues.

SOCHI, RUSSIA, March 15, 2014 – Saturday competition was highlighted by skiers Mac Marcoux and guide Robin Fémy capturing gold in the men’s giant slalom visually impaired division, adding to the two bronze medals they won earlier in the Games. Competition in team sports wrapped up today, with the Canadian sledge hockey team winning bronze and the wheelchair curling team winning gold.
