Hug and McGrory win Rolling Rampage wheelchair races

OTTAWA – Marcel Hug of Switzerland and Amanda McGrory of the U.S. showed why they are two of the greatest wheelchair racers in history with victories Thursday morning at the Rolling Rampage 10 kilometre event held on Parliament Hill.

(Kansas City, USA) Alison Levine (Montreal, QC) heads home from Kansas City with two bronze medals around her neck. Levine faced newcomer Davor Komar from Croatia in the bronze medal match and won the game 3-2.

The athletics and Paralympic community is in mourning following the sudden and tragic death of Paralympic coach Ken Thom. Coach Thom died Sunday, Sept. 24, in Cape Town, South Africa, as a result of a scuba diving accident.
